BestChange Plans To Resume Operations After Recent Block by Russian Government

BestChange | Russia | Cryptocurrency Aggregator | Government

Popular Russian crypto exchange aggregator BestChange will soon be resuming operations after being blocked by the government, crypto news outlet Forklog reports May 7.

Nikita Zuborev, head of public relations and marketing at the firm, told Forklog that in the coming days the block is expected to be lifted following a court hearing. BestChange website was blocked by Russian telecommunications watchdog Roskomnadzor (RKN) on March 12 after an order from a district court in Omsk, Russia’s seventh largest city.

BestChange has been operational in Russia, despite the recent block by RKN via employing various unblocking methods such as VPN services, Zuborev stated. At press time, the website is unavailable from Russian IPs. BestChange has been blocked multiple times by Russian government since its launch in 2017.

The website aims to list reliable fiat-to-crypto exchanges, including data on operated fiat supply and reviews. As of press time, the website “https://www.bestchange.com/list.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener nofollow noreferrer”>lists 220 active websites providing crypto exchange services.
