A pioneer in cybersecurity, John McAfee is a known name both inside and outside the cryptocurrency sphere. Last year the former NASA programmer said he was heavily involved in the cryptocurrencies and it would become the future standard for payments worldwide. Here is a prediction about Bitcoin prices made by him.
McAfee went to social media and made regular announcements on what he thought about the future of virtual currencies and more specifically the worlds’ first decentralized cryptocurrency, Bitcoin.
He takes the bet of a $ 500,000 Bitcoin in the next three years.
McAfee then said the virtual currency could even reach $ 2.6 million within the same timeframe.
It seems that these statements were intended to create a small buzz. Indeed lower down on the tweeter conversation thread, McAfee continued by promoting a new token called soberly, McAfee Coin (MCF)

With the promise of “putting the investment upside down” the MCF, which will have its own ICO, claims to be designed to finance start-ups of new technologies through the China-based McAfee Crowdchain Accelerator.
The website says:
“We think hackers are the most productive when they can spend most of their time in Hacking. Our goal is to create an environment where you can concentrate exclusively on creating an initial version of your product. We will select groups of graduates selected from accelerated programs and fund with our own funds as well as with other funds from institutional investors around the world. “
There seems to be no doubt that McAfee’s new venture is already attracting much interest. It may begin to develop once its ICO is complete.
