Bitcoin price is gaining day by day and the year 2017, specially the month of March and April has been the game changer for Bitcoin. Prices are increasing and investor are gaining wealth through this Digital Asset. But we should not forget that Bitcoin was introduced as a currency and it should be used like a currency.

Dell, the major computer giant is accepting Bitcoins in the form of payments. Dell says on it’s website “Bitcoin is a new payment option intended to offer even more flexibility for customers. Bitcoin payments can be made easily from anywhere in the world, and offer reduced payment processing costs”
Dell has collaborated with US based bitcoin exchange CoinBase. Cutomers need to create a wallet with Coinbase and can pay DELL through the Coinbase wallet.
A user can book tickets or pay for air travel in Bitcoins to Expedia.com
Expedia has also tied-up with Coinbase and a user can pay Expedia in Bitcoins through Coinbase wallet.
After Japan recognizing Bitcoins as an official mode of payments this year on April 1, major Japanese retailers are now starting to accept Bitcoins in form of Payments. Japanese news reports suggests that around 260,000 retailers will accept Bitcoin by the summer. One of them is Bic Camera, a store in Japan that specializes in selling electronics and camera equipments, have already started accepting Bitcoins in the form of payments.
BitCoffee-an online coffee store which sells coffee beans and accepts payments in the form of Bitcoins. Not only it accepts Bitcoin as a payment buy has also mentioned it’s prices in value of Bitcoins. The online store is shipping coffee beans to European Countries, Canada, Unites States and Australia.
Well the above list may be a global list and not relevant for users in India, but Indians too can use Bitcoins as a currency. Though, the merchants accepting Bitcoins are few as of now, but the numbers may increase in future.

Airtel, Big Tv, Dish Tv, Tata Sky , Sun Tv and Videocon are some of the companies for which a user can pay for DTH services in Bitcoins, through Unocoin.
Also, Unocoin has now collaborated with PayUMoney, an online payment gateway which will facilitate users to buy Bitcoin through Net Banking.
Zebpay, another leading Bitcoin exchange offers similar services where a user can recharge mobile phones, data cards, and pay for DTH services all in the form of Bitcoins. Also the company mentions that it will soon enable it’s service through which a user can pay landline, broadband and electricity bills.
Zebpay also offer various discount vouchers of companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Freecharge, Dominos, Pizza Hut and Uber, all of them which can be bought through Bitcoins.
