Ripple (XRP) price was on a sideways trend yesterday, June 3. On June 27, the price was on a downward correction to a low at $0.40 price level. After the downward correction in the past week, the Ripple price had been ranging below the 12-day and the 26-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs). With the appearance of a small body candlesticks the price of Ripple is likely to range for a few more days.

Yesterday, it was assumed that the Ripple price was likely to continue its decline since the price was below the EMAs. However, the price of Ripple was on a range bound move below the EMAs. The price of XRP may likely encounter a bearish break or a bullish break. In the meantime, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) line and the signal line are above the zero line which suggests a buy signal.

As the 1-hour chart shows, XRPUSD price is in a sideways trend. The 12-day and the 26-day EMAS are trending horizontally below the $0.40500 resistance level. XRPUSD price is now trading below the $0.40500 price level.

Yesterday, XRP bulls tested the $0.40500 price level twice, however, they were resisted. Each time the bulls tested the resistance level, XRPUSD price would drop below the EMAs. The bulls will again resume another upward move to retest the resistance level. In the meantime, the MACD line and the signal line are below the zero line, indicating a sell signal.
