So here we are with another list of Top Ten Cryptocurrencies for the third week of August. As compared to our last report on cryptocurrency, reshuffling has happend again in the list of top ten cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin was the driving force for this week as well and continued it’s upward movement. Bitcoin prices crossed $4000 and continued its rally and almost reached a level of $4500. At the time of publishing this articles, Bitcoin price was $4131 and INR 2,85,000 in Indian Markets.
Usually whenver Bitcoin prices increases drastically, prices of altcoins drop as investors shifts from Alt’s to Bitcoin.
Although this time, there were few exceptions in the list of Top Ten Cryptocurrencies like NEO , IOTA and surprisingly DASH.
Following it’s last week trend, prices of NEO the rebranded version of Antshares Cryptocurrency continued it’s upward movement. It made it’s new all-time high at $51.9 and is expected to continue the upward trend after some corrections.
The prices of IOTA also kept increasing. It went as high as upto $0.98.
To a surprise, DASH made a huge jump yesterday, 19 August, and it kept on rising till $325. The prices of Dash at the time of writing this article was $307.
Bitcoin Cash , the new born cryptocurrency also jumped yesterday and went high upto $900. This recent surge in Bitcoin Cash prices is speculated to be the increase in speed of transactions. (Click here to read in detail)
