According to data published by Freelancer, an international employment marketplace , cryptocurrency related work underwent a jaw-dropping 82% growth in the current fiscal’s third quarter. The periodic report of the company tracks the topmost trends in the segment of online jobs according to its Freelancer.com platform listings.
Matt Barrie, the CEO of Freelancer recently told CNBC that, “People are getting freelancers to design new types of cryptocurrencies.”
Companies are on a constant lookout of fresh talent who can manage the ever-evolving ICO paradigm starting from the time when a new digital token is put up for sale amongst outside speculators for raising money. As per Freelancer, employers are also seeking people who can write proposal plans pertaining to Blockchain Technology, a Bitcoin pioneered data structure and create new cryptocurrency forms.
Sister field cryptography experienced a 59% rise in job listings during the third quarter as per Freelancer stats. In spite of Bitcoin going through much volatility in the last few years, cryptocurrency as a whole have been on a significant high during the past few months toppling over the $6250 mark on Sunday. With a registered user base of 25 million, and 12 million job offerings in its kitty, Freelancer.com has already listed about 480000 new cryptocurrency based jobs in its third quarter. Employers are especially searching to hire people having knowledge of 3D design, Adobe InDesign, web language HTML5, creative design and e-commerce platform WooCommerce. Social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook have dominated the hiring spectrum over Pinterest, Twitter and Google Plus.
