Bitcoin outperforms Gold

Bitcoin, the world’s first digital decentralized crypto currency, which is also famously know as “DIGITAL GOLD” is now considered to be better than Gold. Initially Bitcoin was compared with gold. But now it looks like Bitcoin has outperformed gold in just 7 years.

Recently on May 13, Stocktwits, world’s largest financial communications platform for the investing community , revealed one of its users’ growth chart comparing various assets, bonds and currencies. In it, a StockTwits user by the name of Charlie Bilello noted that a $10,000 investment in Bitcoin made in July 2010 would have earned investors a $200 mln return and when compared with Gold, if an investor who purchased $10,000 worth of gold in 2010 would have experienced a negative return of $9,981.

Since July 2010, Bitcoin prices are significantly rising. Bitcoin has outperformed almost the major global currencies, stock markets, commodities, bonds and even real estate.

If compared with Indian Stock Market, Bitcoin provided super returns on it’s investment. If INR6.14 Lakh was invested in July 2010, the value of investment today would be around INR 1300 crores!!!!

On the other hand, BSE SENSEX, India’s major stock index grew only 72% from July 2010 till date, which is very low as compared to Bitcoin.

Bitcoin prices are continuously rising and is expected to show the same trend. At the time pf publishing this article, Bitcoin was around $1700. It is expected to grow more in the long run and may cross $2000 by the end of 2017.

Apart from Bitcoin, there are hundred’s of more crypto currencies.Bitcoin being the father of all cryptocurrencies is ruling the market and is the number one crypto currecnies. But slowly and steadily other cryptocurrencies are also gaining and is becoming new love for investors and traders as some of them are providing returns even better than Bitcoin.

For example, Litecoin was priced around $15 on 30 April 2017The prices grew from $15 to $30 in just one week on 7 May 2017. The prices doubled and fetched 100% return in just seven days.
