Crypto intelligence firm Coin Metrics has just raised $6 million
The company completed a Series A funding round, receiving funds it hopes to use to expand its offerings and also increase its staff strength to deliver more products to its customers, as well as support for a wider range of cryptocurrencies.
According to an official blog post from the company, the company prides itself on blazing a trail for its analytics with more in-depth information than other competitors. It says its pool of information is the best way for institutional investors all over the world to make educated investment choices for the best results.
The funding round was led by Highland Capital Partners. Other participants include Digital Currency Group, Avon Ventures, Raptor Group, Castle Island Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, and others.
The company was founded in 2017 by Nic Carter and Aleksei Nokhrin. Since then, it has become a force in the crypto analytics business and a popular resource in the industry.
According to Highland Capital Partners Principal Sean Judge, Coin Metrics is the go-to destination for financial institutions that need “clean and transparent data” to inform their crypto investment decisions.
Coin Metrics partnered with Social Market Analytics (SMA) last year to create a real-time perception of crypto, based on social media data.
