CEO and co-founder of Binance crypto exchange Changpeng Zhao has called out popular Bitcoin SV (BSV) creator Craig Steven Wright (CSW) as fraudulent. In a recent tweet posted yesterday, Zhao also suggested that anyone who invests in BSV will regret it.
In the tweet, Zhao said:
“CSW is a fraud. Investing in a fraud never ends well…Time will tell.”
Craig is probably most popular for proclaiming that he is Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous creator of Bitcoin (BTC). He has even gone as far as bringing lawsuits in the past, against people who refuted his claim.
Craig has also been in the middle of a case with the estate of his former business partner Dave Kleiman. Last year, he was ordered to turn over 50% of all the Bitcoins he mined with Kleiman. The case is still pending.
Back in April last year, Binance announced its decision to delist BSV and discontinue all trading pairs that involve BSV. At the time, Binance said it was the best decision to protect its users and also added that it periodically reviews assets “to ensure that [they continue] to meet the high level of standard we expect.”
Other crypto exchanges including ShapeShift and Kraken also joined Binance and delisted BSV.
