Back in October, MCO Visa Card program was successfully launched in Singapore. The U.S. version is launched in partnership with Foris Inc. of Crypto.com and the Metropolitan Commercial Bank. The user can manage their card usage through the wallet application. They can carry out transactions, freeze or unfreeze their credit or debit card with just a tap. The firm states that the MCO Visa Card is a prepaid card and will not incur monthly or yearly fees. In addition, the users will not be levied any ATM withdrawal fees or foreign transactions fees. Currently, the card support five digital currencies, Bitcoin (BTC), XRP (XRP), Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), and MCO. The platform assures that support for other digital currencies shall be added soon. Interestingly, the card has a top-notch design and aesthetic feel and comes in six different colours.
With an easy to use interface, the User just needs to load their digital assets into their Visa card and convert it to their local currency. Immediately after it the MCO prepaid Visa card can be used everywhere Visa cards are accepted, including restaurants, retails shops, and ATMs. Other Cards with similar functionalities are also available in the market, such as BitPay Card, a prepaid Visa card that lets users load BTC and convert it to U.S dollars in a matter of minutes via a linked Bitcoin (BTC) wallet. Another example is Wirex Visa, it lets users convert and spend digital currencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and XRP (XRP) like fiat currency.
