John McAfee, the cyber security pioneer had “../bitcoin-price-predictions/”>predicted that Bitcoin price will touch $1 million within 2020. This comes at a time when Bitcoin bull have been slaying the market with its utmost vigor and taking the price curve further up the radar. McAfee, had taken up the position of chief cyber security visionary at the time of joining MGT Capital Investments while the firm was slowly shifting gears to become a part of Blockchain space.
His recent tweet read, “When I predicted Bitcoin at $100,000 by the end of 2020, it used a model that predicted $5000 at the end of 2017. BTC has accelerated much faster than my model assumptions. I now predict Bitcoin at $1 million by the end of 2020. I will eat my dick if wrong.”
This one time fugitive and former Libertarian presidential candidate feels bullish about Bitcoin given its massive price hike which increased by 11 times starting from the beginning of this fiscal. McAfee has also showcased tremendous support in favor of Bitcoin Cash in recent months. He firmly believes that Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash will keep the “Bitcoin” named flag flying high in days to come. He was quoted as saying that,
“Bitcoin can reach a million and still not be dominant. Did all of you get hit in the head as a child?”
Craig Wright, however, feels that McAfee was talking about the combined Bitcoin value along with its fork resultants. “Bitcoin from John is BTC + BCH. I think people are missing this,” he said.
