Cryptocurrency Trading Platform To Be Launched By One Of The Largest German Stock Exchange

Börse Stuttgart, one of the largest stock exchanges in Germany plans to introduce a trading platform for cryptocurrencies in 2019. The report follows another one from August that suggested that the firm is planning to launch an ICO platform.

The press release announced on Wednesday the firm’s intentions to launch a trading platform for cryptocurrencies during the Q1 2019. Germany’s second largest securities exchange will be collaborating with a German fintech company, Solarisbank for the construction of the platform. The company also has a bank license and will act as a banking partner for Börse Stuttgart.

“With its combination of technology and banking expertise, Solarisbank is a great partner for us to offer central services along the value chain for digital assets”, says Alexander Hoptner, CEO of Börse Stuttgart”

Bitcoin and Eethereum for starters

The platform is open for trade by both individual and institutional investors. Initially, the trade will be limited to bitcoin and ethereum, however, the platform plans to expand and release more tokens as soon as their ICO platform is ready for launch.
