Solana

E-Sports Programming Network (ESPN Global) has launched an online gaming platform that supports Bitcoin payments. The online gaming platform will allow competitions among users, where players will be able to make money. To enable easy and secure cryptocurrency payments on the platform, ESPN Global will use “CryptoPay.”

Presently, the platform is in the pre-launch phase and when it becomes available to gamers, players will use Bitcoin and some other crypto to make payments. In addition, premium members will get more access to some of the most sought-after games. They will also get early permission to the latest online games.

Founded in 1979, ESPN has diversified its services since its launch. The company enables users to compete among each other, on some popular online games. Recently, ESPN launched “Satoshi’s Treasure,” a global puzzle with a $1 million Bitcoin prize. The puzzle is named after Bitcoin’s creator, Satoshi Nakamoto.

Furthermore, ESPN Global has plans to launch an Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) of its own Smart Gaming Token (SGT). This will be done after the e-sports community has been stabilized. In addition to the development plan of the company, ESPN Global also launched the initiation of a new Game Developers Console in January, 2020. This will give access to independent game developers and gaming studios to launch their own games.
