Grayscale Purchases ETH Worth Over $344 Million In Two Weeks

Digital asset manager Grayscale has bought Ether (ETH) worth more than $344 million in two weeks. During the period, Grayscale acquired a total of 197,890 ETH. Grayscale made the largest ETH purchase in February, on the 12th. On the day, the firm purchased 52,730 ETH at $1,770 per coin.  

Crypto trading platform Bybt noted that there was an inflow of investments into the Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE) between the 3rd and 13th of February.

In addition, Bybt revealed that the Grayscale Ethereum Trust now has 3.13 million ETH.

According to a tweet by Grayscale, the total crypto assets under the company’s management is worth $38.8 billion. Also, the Ethereum Trust’s assets under management (AUM) is worth more than $5.57 billion. Notably, Grayscale temporarily shut down its Ethereum Trust in December 2020.

In the tweet, the firm stated:

“02/16/21 UPDATE: Net Assets Under Management Holdings per Share, and Market Price per Share for our investment Products. Total AUM: $38.8 billion.”

At press time, Ethereum is up 4.04% to $1,833.22. The ETH 24-hour trading volume has risen to over $34 billion. The second-largest digital asset by market value also has a market cap of about $211 billion.
