Harshita Arora is a 16 year old girl who grew up in a small town north of New Delhi, who was home schooled. She has a homemaker mother and a financier father. Only at the age of 13, she started learning about coding and digital design. She didn’t take long to learn the basics and further learnt about cryptocurrencies in a tech magazine. Arora’s passion in digital currencies ignited over time and she realized that it was the perfect opportunity for her to use her skills and create a new and helpful app. The motivation behind the crypto app was to help people track the quickly growing number of cryptocurrencies more easily. She soon found herself the target of a Reddit mob that refused to believe that such a young girl can be a creator of this crypto app. Arora was however, very clear an vocal that she hired a coder to help with the app’s backend. Eventually, she was able to put the down the threatening critics,
Harshita Arora’s crypto app, Crypto Price Tracker, wouldn’t really be considered a new concept, however the usability is great.

Harshita’s collaboration with Redwood City Ventures began when company’s founder, Sean Walsh, posted a cryptocurrency app advertisement on LinkedIn. Soon enough, he came across an app that looked good, worked great, and was reasonably priced. Walsh established contact and discovered that this app’s developer is a 16-year-old Indian girl. At first, he was quite surprised by her age and intelligence. However, Walsh was impressed with her intelligence and maturity, and the firm decided to buy her app. Walsh told the International Business Times :
“The idea that I had, and the reason I bought it, was to act as an easy beachhead to access for my expansion into direct consumer tech-related businesses, which sort of transcends a lot of the crypto mining that I have invested in over the last several years.”
Walsh stated that this app will make his company more competitive. And he is happier about the fact that the talent youth is channeling its energy and efforts into the crypto and blokchain world.
