HEX Token Crashes Over 50% To Trade For Less Than 1 Satoshi

Satoshi

The Hex (HEX) community is currently having it rough as prices have continued to plummet. HEX tokens recently shed more than 50% of its weight in less than 24 hours. This drop pushed prices all the way down below 1 satoshi’s worth.

satoshi is the smallest monetary unit of Bitcoin (BTC). It is currently the smallest level to which a Bitcoin can be divided to, and is equal to one hundred millionth of a Bitcoin or 0.00000001 BTC. On the 5th of January, 1 HEX was worth 7.745e-9 BTC according to CoinMarketCap. This, converted to BTC, is 0.000000007745 BTC, much lower than 1 satoshi.

Converted to the U.S. dollar, 1 HEX was $0.000058, making it almost impossible to measure. In just a little over a month, the HEX token has pretty much lost all of its value. It is currently trading at $0.000073

The token is quite infamous and has been controversial since it was issued. Hex was advertised to investors with the promise it would surge more than 10,000 times in two and a half years. The bold and ridiculous claim made many people quite wary of the token.

Also, Hex founder Richard Heart has a history of internet scams and was known as the ‘Spam King’.

In December, HEX lost 64% of its value after Bitcoin.com listed it.
