In my previous article, we discussed about setting up Paper Wallet for Bitcoin/Altcoins. In this article, i have mentioned step-by-step procedure on “How To Create Ethereum Paper Wallet On MyEtherWallet”
Step1. First, go to MyEtherWallet.com
Step 2. Enter a password for your new wallet. You must remember your password.
Step 3. Click on “Create New Wallet”.
Step 4. After clicking, a new screen will appear. Download the Keystore File and save it in your computer. After downloading, click on “I Understand. Continue”
Step 5. After clicking, a new screen will apper.Here you have to do three actions.
First, Copy the private key and save it in your computer securely.
Second, Click on “Print Paper Wallet”. A new print file will open. Save it in your computer as well as print multiple copies. But this has not yet unlocked your wallet. To unlock follow further instructions.
Third, After printing, return to the window below and click on “Save Your Address”.
Step 6. On the Next Screen, click on “Private Key”.
Step 7. Paste your private key in the Text Box. Click on “Unlock”
Step 8. After clicking on Unlock, you will receive a message saying “Wallet Successfully decrypted” . Scroll down further to see your wallet account.
Your Ethereum Paper wallet has been created.
You can also get your paper wallet for ethereum printed in this step by clicking on “Print Paper Wallet”.
And there you go. That is how you create a paper wallet for Ethereum on Myetherwallet.com
