A new collaboration between MIXMARVEL, a game platform, and content community, with Ontology (ONT), a next-generation public chain infrastructure project and a distributed trust collaboration platform, will see one of the top gaming dAPP, HyperDragons, shifting from the Ethereum blockchain to the Ontology platform.
According to the announcement, the new partnership will enable MIXMARVEL to develop decentralized applications (dApps) on the Ontology network. This shift from the Ethereum blockchain will allow HyperDragons to address the scalability issues. Andy Ji, Chief Strategy Officer of Ontology, stated:
“Blockchain is a hot technology and the blockchain gaming industry is one which the public can easily participate in. Ontology and MIXMARVEL will work together to give a more exciting experience for HyperDragons and bring more fun to the Ontology ecosystem.”
The infamous,HyperDragons is a competitive fighting game, where players can collect, breed and trade digital dragons by generating smart contracts on the blockchain. A PVP battle mode pits the dragons against each other and reward and experience points are earned accordingly. Additionaly, a P2P marketplace helps facilitate the game’s internal economy.
Currently trading for $1.73, ONT, it is the 26th largest coin in the AltDex 100 Index (ALT100), a benchmark index for large-cap cryptocurrencies and tokens.
