MicroStrategy Posts $3.4 Billion Losses on BTC Holdings; Here Is What To Know About the Progress of “DOGE-1 to the Moon”

MicroStrategy

At the end of Q1 2022, MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin holdings were worth about $5.9 billion. However, with the price of Bitcoin reaching around $18,900 on June 30, the same stockpile — including some minor purchases announced at the end of June — was now only worth about $2.45 billion, or 58 percent less than it was just three months earlier. MicroStrategy’s cryptocurrency holdings are now worth $3.4 billion less than they were at the end of the first quarter.

Until any of the Bitcoin is sold, the fall technically represents another paper loss for the business intelligence firm under US accounting laws, but there are still repercussions. When MicroStrategy releases its second-quarter earnings, it will probably have to take a sizable impairment charge.

Participants can reserve lodgings for the mission paid for totally using Dogecoin. The expedition was earlier scheduled for the first part of 2022.
