The CEO of crypto investment firm Pantera Capital, Dan Morehead, said Ether (ETH) and Ripple’s XRP would outperform Bitcoin in a bull run. Noting that Bitcoin is positioned to continue to surge over the coming months, the CEO said he expects certain altcoins to perform better than the king coin.
In a recent interview with Real Vision, Morehead said:
“So we are invested in Bitcoin and Ethereum and XRP… Now I actually think the other currencies are going to outperform Bitcoin. This isn’t to inspire a bunch of hate and trolling. Bitcoin is going to go up a ton, but I just think other things can outperform it.”
He added that Bitcoin’s dominance in the crypto space would shift as Bitcoin would go up, but other altcoins will go higher.
Notably, Bitcoin has reached its all-time high since its inception, crossing over $20,000. At press time, BTC is trading at $20,689.16. Also, the digital assets Morehead is bullish on, ETH and XRP, have also been rising. Currently, Ethereum (ETH) is up 6.11% to $622.42, while XRP has gained 8.64% to $0.516118.
In addition, Morehead referred to the recently-launched ETH 2.0 as the “most important thing in Ethereum.” Speaking further, the CEO said that XRP is gathering the cross-border money movement that has been a topic of discussion in the crypto market.
