Alza,the largest retailer based in the Czech Republic has rcently added Tesla Car to it’s list. A user can buy the Tesla car and pay in Bitcoins.
Alza operates mainly in Central and Eastern Europe including Austria, Germany, Great Britain, and is looking to expand to the rest of Europe. The retailer allows deliveries in 25 countries.Last month, Alza began accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment following numerous requests from customers.
Alza has also installed Bitcoin ATMs in its physical resale stores in Prague and Bratislava.
The retailer’s initiative was a resounding success, with 4% of the total payments on the site made in Bitcoin since the launch. This is a very important number for a retailer who recorded 644 million euros in sales last year.
A month after the acceptance of Bitcoin as payment on the online store, Alza added Tesla cars to the list of items for sale on its website.
It is now possible to purchase a Tesla Model S Tesla Model X with Bitcoins in Europe. The new Tesla will cost you Fifty Bitcoins.
There have been several examples of purchases of Tesla with bitcoins in the past. One customer even used Bitcoins to pre-order the next Tesla vehicle, the Tesla Model 3.
