Silent Power Projects Ltd. (“Silent”), has officially announced recently an Initial Coin Offering (ICO), to raise funds for the production of their Methanol Synthesis Units which are based on a new technology introduced in 2017.

The Swiss company proposes a green energy solution beyond the typical wind, solar or geothermal options. Silent-Power (Projects) Ltd. produces and installs CO2-neutral, Renewable Methanol Synthesis Plants. This type of renewable energy demonstrates a range of benefits over traditional renewable sources.
Current renewable energy sources don’t produce a consistent baseload power like fossil fuels do. Wind and solar power are two of the most unreliable sources. Solar panels for example cannot produce energy at night and wind power can be intermittent, inefficient and difficult to produce.
Unlike many forms of renewable energy, Silent’s modular or “mini” Econimo power plants can generate renewable energy source virtually anywhere and store the energy efficiently by locking it within methanol fuel. Additionally, these plants require only a few meters of space and can be placed just about anywhere. The plants produce no smoke, smell or dust particles and run at close to 80% efficiency.
In 2016 Silent was awarded the “Swiss Innovation Award” for the production of CO2 neutral electricity from methanol and for the world’s first commissioning of a methanol mini power plant.
The ICO will run from November 1st – November 31st, with the pre-ICO running from September 1st – October 31st. Tokens are 0.15 CHF each and the hardcap is set at 28,000,000 CHF.
