Ethereum and Ethereum Classic, both rises.

So here is another list of Top Ten cryptocurrencies as on 28 May 2017. This week was very volatile for all the cryptocurrencies and specially Bitcoin. Bitcoin making new all time high’s almost everyday, went as high as upto $2700.

In Indian markets too, Bitcoin reached at a price around INR 2,30,000 on major exchanges. In terms of Dollar, Bitcoin price went upto $3500 in Indian Markets.

Not only in India, but in Korea too, Bitcoin prices were trading at a huge premium of around $4500 due to high demand and people willing to pay high prices to acquire Bitcoin.

Bitcoin prices started to drop on Thursday midnight (25 May) according to Indian Time Zone. The prices dropped from INR 2,30,000 to INR 1,60,000. In global markets Bitcoin prices crashed from $2700 to below $2000.

At the time of publishing this article, Bitcoin prices were around $2220 and INR 1,80,000.

On the other hand Ethereum prices also doubled and went as high as upto $200. In Indian markets, it touched INR 15000.

Altcoins were in red one day, green on another. This alternative pattern was seen twice this week. At the time of publishing this article, all other cryptocurrencies were green and moving upwards along with Bitcoin.

List of Top Ten Cryptocurrencies as on 28 May 2017

Some major changes this week:

->Bitcoin prices went upto $2700 and went down to $1900 and witnessed a correction of around $800 in one week.

->Ethereum prices doubled, went as high as upto $200. It also pulled down Ripple and once again gained it’s position of Second most valuable cryptocurrency. Ripple is now on third position.

->NEM maintained it’s position at number Four. Prices declined from  $0.234423 to  $0.196901 when compared from previous week. This is a significant correction.

->Ethereum classic was the only cryptocurrency which was growing, when all others were bathing in red color. It also gained two positions from number 7 to number 5 , when compared with previous week’s report.

->Litecoin and Dash also slipped one position due to rise of Ethereum Classic. No major changes in Litecoin. Dash witnessed a  major price rise this week.

->Monero and Bytecoin both gained one position.

->Stellar Lumens which was at number Eight position last week slipped and is out of top ten list of cryptocurrencies. It was replaced by Golem and was at number Ten position. Golem made a comeback in the top ten cryptocurrency list after 3 weeks. It was at number nine position on 7 May 2017.
