This week was good for cryptocurrencies as Bitcoin prices surged. On Segwit being locked in, Bitcoin prices may rise further. Although no major changes in terms of rankings were observed in this week’s list of top ten cryptocurrencies.
On account of SegWit being locked in, August 1 can be ignored and hence, Bitcoin will come again on it’s normal path.
Apart from Bitcoin, other Altcoin prices also surged.
Litecoin, the silver in cryptocurrencies is gaining more demand. Prices of Litecoin went up and down and it is predicted by cryptocurrency experts that it may reach to $70 in coming months.
This week’s cheer-up in cryptocurrency market can be attributed to Bitcoin Miners supporting activation of SegWit.
As a result, investors which have escaped from Bitcoin due to August 1 issue again entered in the market. Increase in demand and confidence of investors raised the prices of the virtual currency as well.
Altcoins followed the suit but still remains in the same range. If Bitcoin prices further increases, expect the same in Altcoions as well.
