Tron Foundation Founder Justin Sun Finally Meets Warren Buffet At Charity Lunch

Tron CEO

At long last, TRON CEO and Founder Justin Sun has had the earlier proposed charity lunch with billionaire businessman Warren Buffet. The pair met on the 23rd of January after repeated efforts in 2019 proved futile.

Back in June last year, Sun won an eBay charity auction with a $4.57 million bid for Buffet’s charity efforts. Buffet has successfully run this for 20 years. It was announced at the time that proceeds from the lunch will go to the GLIDE Foundation, a non-profit organization based in San Francisco. The foundation is aimed at eliminating injustice and promoting equality for lacking communities as well as ethnic minorities.

They finally met in a private country club in Nebraska, with a few guests. The invitees were Litecoin Foundation founder Charlie Lee, Binance Charity Foundation head Helen Hai, eToro CEO Yobi Assia and Huobi CFO Chris Lee.

Sun spoke on the meeting, saying that Buffet gave him advice on managing Tron. Sun said:

“It was really an honor and I’m grateful for Mr. Buffet’s dinner, wisdom, and vision. I’ll always remember his kindness and support, and will take Mr. Buffet’s advice and guidance to make Tron a better ecosystem, business with all the partners in the blockchain space and beyond.”
