TRON to Deliver On-Chain Oracles for DeFi in Partnership with Band

PNC Bank

Decentralize internet protocol, TRON, has partnered with Band protocol to provide on-chain Oracles for decentralized finance (DeFi) network.

The partnership will allow third-party TRON app developers to gain access to secure oracle data and solutions. Gaining access to reliable oracles is considered to be a crucial capability for any blockchain network.

The TRON-Band partnership is timely as both protocols already have exciting projects ongoing. TRON recently began shipping JustSwap and the BitTorrent File System, two of its latest products. Band was recently listed and integrated on two major exchanges; Binance Chain and Coinbase.

Since its inception, TRON’s daring mission has been to build the necessary systems needed to have a decentralized internet. Partnering with Band protocol is a huge step towards achieving its goal.

Band is considered the second-best oracle solution provider. Its APIs can help futures such as smart contracts to react to real-time events such as weather conditions or price movements. This on-chain service can significantly increase the blockchain’s value toward investors.

Connecting the two protocols was done via Band’s network called BandChain. TRON dApp developers can now retrieve information on any crypto asset on the blockchain for smart contracts.

Since its listing on Coinbase, Band’s native token has surged ahead by 239% in less than 30 days.
