The bull run of crypto market is bringing us face to face with newer contenders of the dark horse category. One such cryptocurrency which had been hogging the limelight for quite some time now is Tron (TRX) after showcasing a record gain of 538% in the past five days. With such brilliant growth statistics, it has secured a position for itself in the list of top ten cryptocurrencies on a global scale.At the time of publishing this article, TRON was priced $0.18 and was ranked at number NINE position as per market capitalization. TRON is listed on Binance Exchange and receives major trading volume at the Hong Kong based exchange.
The price of Tron had been on a constant rise since the last couple of months thus luring in investment across both retail and institutional investors. In the world of cryptos, Tron had secured the sixth slot when segregated in accordance with market capitalisation with a whopping $15.07 billion in its kitty. Since September of 2017 when it started its crypto innings with a meagre value of one fifth of a cent, Tron had come a long way and is currently being traded at around 20 cents. The value of Tron had increased by more than twice on Thursday following a social media post by Justin Sun its founder which enumerated that the firm ‘will announce our partnership with a very prestigious public listed company next week. Looking forward to it!’ Tronix, the official token of Tron shall serve as the basic unit of accounts in the blockchain of Tron. It was set up by a 27 year old Chinese citizen Justin Sun who bagged a position in the list of 30 under 30 : Consumer Technology list published by Forbes magazine.
Markets Experts says that the bull run of TRON has not yet finished and may race to $0.50. Binance is the major exchange on which TRON is available for trading.
