Mainnet are important to any blockchain project as it opens up the project to general public. The masses can now actually use the projects functionality and transfer the project’s native cryptocurrency. Also, it is believed that when the mainnet of any cryptocurrency is launched, the price of that particular cryptocurrency tends to rise. Hence, this can be an opportunity for crypto traders. Following are some of the upcoming cryptocurrency mainnet launches
The Oyster Mainnet is scheduled to launch on 29 May 2018. Though, the Oyster Mainnet was scheduled to be launched in April 2018 but, the team delayed it to May 29 due to inefficiencies in IOTA’s Tangle. Oyster is based on IOTA’s tangle.
